Background:The use of erectile dysfunction drugs by men of all ages in the USA is growing worldwide. This study was performed to determine the effectiveness of Viagra on the sexual life of men aged 18 to 65 years with erectile dysfunction.

Methods:A total of 542 men aged 18 to 65 years were enrolled in the study and were divided into two groups: Group A received 100 mg of Viagra and Group B received 200 mg of Viagra. The subjects were sexually aroused for 4 hours while they were receiving sildenafil and then were asked to take Viagra. The men received sildenafil for 3 days and then they were asked to take Viagra. A total of 16 men from each group were also recruited. The mean age of the subjects was 59.9±12.3 years. The most frequent age groups were: 45-55 years: 14 cases (3.5%) were over the age of 65 years; 56-65 years: 3 cases (5.4%) were over the age of 65 years; and 65-65 years: 6 cases (3.2%) were over the age of 65 years.

Results:Viagra was shown to significantly increase the sexual function of the subjects by a mean of 11.8±1.7 points in the Group A and 15.3±1.9 points in the Group B. The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05) when the age was between 45 and 55 years.

Conclusions:The use of Viagra in men of all ages with erectile dysfunction is growing worldwide. This study was carried out to establish the effectiveness of Viagra on the sexual life of men aged 18 to 65 years.

Viagra (Sildenafil) is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor.

The use of sildenafil has been shown to enhance the effects of nitric oxide on cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the penis, a key component in the erectile tissue of the male sexual organ. This enzyme is necessary for the synthesis of cGMP, which is the primary signal for the corpus cavernosum to produce erections. As cGMP levels rise in the corpus cavernosum, and the penis becomes erect, the increase in nitric oxide concentration causes an increase in cGMP levels. The relaxation of smooth muscle in the penis by sildenafil results in the increase of cGMP levels.

The increase in nitric oxide concentration causes an increase of cGMP levels.

It increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps men achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra may have side effects, including headache, flushing, dizziness, upset stomach, nasal congestion, and vision changes. It should not be taken with certain medications or conditions, so it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional before using it. This medication can cause a mild decrease in blood pressure. Caution is advised for individuals with low blood pressure or those taking medications that lower blood pressure, as combining these can lead to potentially harmful interactions. People with severe liver or kidney disease may experience slower elimination of Viagra from the body, leading to a prolonged effect. Dosage adjustments may be necessary in such cases.

What is erectile dysfunction? Erectile dysfunction, or erectile dysfunction that occurs when a man cannot get or keep an erection, is made up of 2 primary processes: the PDE5 enzyme, which affects blood flow and the nitric oxide pathway, which helps to increase blood flow. When a man is sexually stimulated, ED is made up of two processes: sexual tissue damage (such as cancer, heart disease, or diabetes) and smooth muscle relaxation (such as in angina). When erectile dysfunction occurs, the results can vary. Based on scientific studies, the estimated prevalence of ED is approximately 41% with different types causing significant distress. However, even if you think you may be able to manage your erectile dysfunction, you might not get the relief you need. Erectile dysfunction can occur due to several reasons, including cardiovascular issues, diabetes, liver or kidney problems, or a history of heart attack. smooth muscle relaxation is the process by which a man's blood vessels relax during sexual activity, leading to increased blood flow. In erectile dysfunction, the arteries become loose and open, which allows the blood to rush into the penis to obtain its intended purpose. Erectile dysfunction can cause a number of side effects, including headaches, indigestion, a loss of appetite, a low level of potassium in the blood, muscle aches, flushing, nasal congestion, and visual disturbances (such as blurred vision). Note:all medicines have the potential for adverse effects. Therefore, if you experience any of these symptoms, contact a healthcare professional immediately.

What is nitric oxide? Erectile dysfunction is when a man is excited or tension-producing. Nitric oxide is a messenger that cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) is released in response to sexual stimulation. When nitric oxide is released, cGMP is sent to relax the smooth muscle in the penis. As a result, blood is allowed to flow into the penis and the man is prompted to get an erection. Erectile dysfunction can also lead to a drop in blood pressure, making it difficult to get or keep an erection.

This drug is the name given to a group of medicines called PDE-5 inhibitors. They help a man with erectile dysfunction get and maintain an erection during sexual activity. It is a generic version of Viagra which is the brand name for a class of drugs called PDE-5 inhibitors. The PDE-5 inhibitors work by blocking an enzyme in your body called PDE-5. The PDE-5 inhibitors are usually taken by mouth.
