I have tried taking sildenafil with grapefruit juice. The effect of sildenafil can last up to 36 hours. I have not noticed any side effects. It is important to note that taking sildenafil with grapefruit juice can cause side effects like dizziness and headaches. I also have noticed that taking sildenafil with grapefruit can lead to a temporary increase in the dose of the drug. These side effects are not common with sildenafil but have occurred with other PDE5 inhibitors such as vardenafil. In the past I have had side effects with sildenafil and it was not as bad as it is now. However, it is important to note that you should always speak to your doctor before taking any new medicine.
